J.R. Clarke Public Library is pleased to share an end in sight for moving back to our Main Library Site at 102 East Spring Street. The Alternative Site, located at 101 North High Street, will be closing Thursday, November 11, until we reopen at Spring Street in early December.
All patrons wanting to check out books need to do so from now through Wednesday, November 10 at 7:00 p.m.
There will be NO FINES during the time the library is CLOSED. Don’t worry at all about this. We will be exempting fines when we reopen.
You can still place books in the Book Drop on Spring Street.
The newly renovated J.R. Clarke Public Library Community Room will be open, at least for the Covington Hometown Christmas Celebration on Saturday, December 4 for Santa, the kids, lunch, etc. Check the times on the Village website.
We will announce an Opening Celebration at a later time.
We will be taking reservations over the phone for any events in our Community Room. Please call our Director, Cherie Roeth, at 937-570-1733. Please leave a message, and she will return your call.
Also, phones, Wifi, and Internet service will be temporarily unavailable.
Thank you for your patience and understanding, and we look forward to seeing all of you very soon!
